HI Photography Students,
Welcome to Composition Lesson 5!
This week we are going to talk about focusing your cameras on the things close to you (the foreground) and things far away from you (background)
FOREGROUND
That means the "front" of your picture. When you set your camera to the "close up" setting, you can have it focus on something that is very close to you. This will make the background fuzzy. It will bring attention to your focal point.
BACKGROUND
When you set your camera to focus on things far away, the foreground (or what is close to you becomes fuzzy while the things far away are very sharp)
To do this lesson, you might have to ask someone to help you to understand the settings on your camera.
Composition: Lesson 5/Assignment 1: (2 photos)
Take a photo with your focal point in the foreground with very sharp focus, while your background is fuzzy.
Take a photo with your focal point in the background with the foreground fuzzy.
