Composition Lesson - Perspectives
This week we are going to concentrate on images with interesting perspectives.
PERSPECTIVE
Perspective refers to the relationship of imaged objects in a photograph. (How you see things). We each have our own perspective while looking at the same object because our eyes are at different levels.
Vanishing Point Perspective
This is the idea that all lines in your photo are leading to one direction that is towards the back or off to one side. (Think a path that seems to lead to nowhere). The lines could be the sides of a road, or columns in line with each other, or even a fence.
Weird Perspectives:
This is when you take crazy photos with your camera tilted, holding it down and shooting up. It is fun to look at things from angles that you typically wouldn't see when you are just walking around.
This is a good time to think about architectural photography:)!
Composition: Lesson 6/Assignment 1: (2 photos)
Take a photo with a vanishing point perspective.
Take a photo with a "weird" perspective.
