Biblical Fine Arts - Photography - Lesson 4
Hi Biblical Photographers,
Welcome to Lesson 4!
This lesson is all about the starry night when Baby Jesus' birthplace was marked by a marvelous star in the sky. This magnificent star led the Magi to Bethlehem. Matthew 2 tells the story of that starry night. If you were not a magi and you had no idea that Jesus was born or who He was.. what do you think you would think about the special night's sky? How cool might it have been. Now if you had read the Old Testament and you were looking for signs of the Messiah, what would you do if you thought that the Messiah might have come only a few miles away from where you are. How exciting it could have been!
Biblical Photography Assignment #4:
1. It is time to try out some night photography. Everyone's camera is a little different, so you will have to play around with your camera to capture the images for this assignment. Take 3-5 photos of "night time lights" that are in focus (with a tripod, no flash and a quick shutter speed). Take 3-5 photos of "night time lights" on a tripod with a slow shutter speed. (The lights should blur into lines or stars).
I hope you have fun!
Peace be with you,
Mrs. G.
