The basic "Arts Curriculum" will run on a four "level" cycle:
"Arts Day" Course Outline/Schedule -
Year 1/Level 1:
Day 1 - Tuesdays
9:30-11:30 - art & bib fine arts extended to a year long course...
11:30-12:00 - lunch
12:00- 2:00 - arch/ drafting, intro, adv2
2:00 - 3:30 - work time, mentoring
3:30-4:30 - dance/movement (optional)
Day 2- Thursdays
9:30 - 11:30 - photo, biblical photo, illustrating, websites
11:30 - 12:00 - lunch
12:00 - 2:30 - theater, video, set design, script writing..
2:00 - 3:30 - individual projects, work time, mentoring
3:30 - 4:30 - dance class/ history, choreography (optional)
Year 2 / Level 2:
Day 1-
9:30-11:30 - Advanced art & bib fine arts
11:30-12:00 - lunch
12:00- 2:00 - Advanced arch 2 and 3/, CAD drafting
2:00 - 3:30 - work time, mentoring
3:30-4:30 - Int. dance/movement (optional)
Day 2 -
9:30 - 11:30 - Advanced photo, biblical photo, illustrating, websites
11:30 - 12:00 - lunch
12:00 - 2:30 - Level 2 - theater, video, set design, script writing.. (topic and responsibilities change and increase yearly)
2:00 - 3:30 - individual projects, work time, mentoring
3:30 - 4:30 - Int. dance class/ history, choreography (optional)
Year 3/Level 3:
Day 1-
9:30-11:30 - Advanced Art - Independent Studies based on student focused interest
11:30-12:00 - lunch
12:00- 2:00 - Advanced arch - Independent Studies
2:00 - 3:30 - work time, mentoring
3:30-4:30 - Adv. - dance/movement (optional)
Day 2-
9:30 - 11:30 - photo, biblical photo, illustrating, websites - Independent Studies based on student focused interest.

Proposed Basic Core Curriculum for 2016-2020
(Parents will chose their own core curriculum, but there will be the option to include the following curriculum during the day for those with the full-time core option - this is not a limiting list of subjects covered:)

Students will be highly encouraged to pursue independent studies along the way based on personal interests/talents.
*for high school level students and students going through the sequence a 2nd time)
Year 1 - Concentration on Biblical and Ancient History, Botany and Astronomy/Physical Science, IEW
Year 2 - Concentration on Medieval History, Zoology 1-3/Bio, IEW
Year 3 - Concentration on Renaissance History, Anatomy, Physics /Chemistry, IEW
Year 4 - Concentration on Modern History, General Science/Physics, IEW
Core Curriculum Suggestions for Parents (some used, but not limited to) - Core curriculum is the parent's choice. Mrs. G. will work with your choices as a coach/mentor, but not as teacher or grader for core curriculum work.
History - Variety (Used but not limited to: Mystery, Story of the World, Homeschool in the Woods, Seton High School History Books, Living Books)
Science- Apologia
English/Writing - Institute of Excellence in Writing
Language - Rosetta Stone/other depending upon language
